The Sim

The Anubis is set in the Mirror Universe, where the Terran Empire has been under the control of the Klingon/Cardassian Alliance. Now however, the Rebellion that started on the Space Station Terok Nor has spread, and now the Terran Empire rises from the ashes once again.

Current On Ship Character Rules

- All Terran Officers and nlisted must be report on time and in the appropriate and correct uniform.
- Loyalty to the Empire and your superiors must be maintained at all times.
- Betrayal will not be tolerated.
- You will follow all orders without question.
- Slaves are not permitted or tolerated on the ISS Anubis, at the order of Captain Valliére.
- You are responsible for your actions.
- Murder or assassination is illegal. However, if you can prove to the Captain that someone is a traitor, then they may be executed but only with permission and after trial.
(It should be noted that executions can be disputed via trial to prove your innocence. A pregnant Terran will only be executed after the child has been brought to full term.)
- Ranks are assigned for a reason. Bribary is not enforced however.
- The Agony Booth is for punishment. Treat it as such!
- You will give your life if necessary for the Empire.

Modern History of the Terran Empire

2155

In the year 2155, Commander Johnathan Archer of the ISS Enterprise leads a mission to capture a 'Future Starship' from a Tholian Base. This Starship is revealed to be the USS Defiant from the 'Prime Universe'. He betrays Captain Forrest who believes that it is nothing more than propaganda and rumours. Archer leads a mutiny aboard the ISS Enterprise NX-01. Commander T'pol is ordered to assassinate Archer on the away team aboard the USS Defiant. Upon destruction of the ISS Enterprise NX 01 Archer uses the USS Defiant against rebels.

Starfleet Command orders Archer to return to Earth so that the technology on the USS Defiant can be reverse engineered. Archer disagree's and orders Starfleets surrender. However his plans are foiled by Hoshi Sato who assassinated Archer with poision, seizes control of the USS Defiant and using its advanced technology and weapons, Starfleet and the Terran Empire. Hoshi Sato announces herself as Empress of the Terran Empire.

2207

By the year 2207, Empress Hoshi Sato has used the advanced technology aboard the USS Defiant to boost Starfleets offensive capability. The Empire now controls Quo'nos and Romulus. The homeworlds of both the Empire's biggest rivals, the Klingon and Romulan Empires. The Terran Empire begins building more warships to spread their influence across more of the Galaxy and subjugate more worlds and territories.

Hoshi Sato begins experimenting with cloning technology in order to create clones of herself to rule after she dies. She begins experiments in secret laboratories across Terra to produce perfect clones of herself. She wants her legacy and reign to continue.

2215

With the Klingon and Romulan Empires now fully subjugated and brought under Terran rule the Empire declares war on their next target. The Tholian Assembly.

2220

The Tholian Assembly falls to the Terran Empire. Millions of Tholians are executed at Terran Hands. They are seen as 'vermin' to Terrans and a 'plague'. The current Empress of the Empire orders that all Tholians should be exterminated. The Terran Empire also starts experimenting with reverse engineering the Tholians 'Web Technology'.

2267

First Contact with the 'United Federation of Planets'aboard the ISS Enterprise. Captain Kirk is 'switched' with his 'counterpart' due to an unusual anomoly caused by a magnetic storm. Captain Kirk, Lieutenant Commander Scott, Lieutenant Uhura and Doctor McCoy sabotage several systems aboard the ISS Enterprise to attempt to return to their universe. Their plans are foiled by Commander Spock, however he allows them to return to their universe. Before they return, Captain Kirk speaks to Commander Spock about peace and how its better than bloodshed. Commander Spock says he will 'Consider it'.

Captain Kirk of the 'Prime Universe' also reveals to Spock the existence of the Tantulus Field, a device installed in Captain Kirks Quarters which can make his enemies 'disappear' resulting in him being 'invincible'.

2270

After realising that the growth of the Terran Empire has become unsustainable, Commander Spock of the ISS Enterprise assassinated Captain Kirk. He then seizes power using the Tantalus Field of the Empire itself. Using logic and his new weapon, he begins to bring in more peaceful reforms Empire Policy. He believes that the Terran Empire was far too hostile and these new reforms could stop the bloodshed. It would be a mistake that the Empire will suffer for.

2272

Emperor Spock is assassinated by loyal extermists that do not agree on his 'Peaceful reforms'. His shuttle was destroyed when three armed Vulcan shuttlecraft intercepted and fired upon it over Vulcan. However by this time Imperial Starfleet has already mothballed or removed most weapons and armaments of their ships and many troop regiments had been disbanded thus leaving the Empire Vulnerable. The USS Enterprise NCC 1701 is refitted into a new refit variant.

2273

The remaining Klingon houses that were in hiding arm themselves. They form an Alliance with the Cardassian Empire and together begin an invasion of the Terran Empire. With Starfleet disarmed and low on their military strength a bloody war between the Alliance and Terran Empire errupts across the stars. This will be known in Terran Empire History as 'The Great Downfall War'.

2280

The ISS Enterprise, NCC 1701 A under command of Captain William Decker is destroyed in a skirmish between the Enterprise and two Klingon Ships and two Cardassian ships. Later this year the ISS Enterprise B was launched, a new Excelsior Class Warship under command of Captain John Harriman. By now the war had been ongoing for twelve years and although Imperial Starfleet was 'holding the line' it was soon becoming apparant that the Empire may fall.

2282

The Terran Empire loses control of the Romulan Star Empire. The Romulans join the Klingon/Cardassian alliance temporarily to defeat the Terran Empire. Imperial Starfleet takes considerable losses. The ISS Enteprise NCC 1701 B is destroyed by Romulan Ships protecting the Beta Antares Ship Yards. Unfortunately the ship yard are destroyed resulting in over 35,000 Terran and Slave deaths. This results in a joint military operation by the Klingon/Cardassian alliance and the Romulans to push deeper into Terran Territory.

The Terrans lose several key planets in 2282, including Betazed, Xanar, Alpha Centauri and Tellar Prime. Imperial Starfleet is pulled back to protect the main key worlds of Terra, Vulcan and Andoria.

2284

The Terran Empire and Klingon/Cardassian Alliance agree on a ceasefire. This was agreed upon for the best interests of the people on both sides. However the ceasefire only lasts three months before the Klingon/Cardassian alliance decided to reopen hostilities with an attack on Starbase 24. The attack resulted in Starbase 24 being destroyed and open war began once again. However this has given Imperial Starfleet enough time to rebuild and repair some of their fleet.

2285

Imperial Starfleet launches a counter attack on the Klingon/Cardassian alliance. The Terran Empire recaptured Betazed and Xanar at the cost of over 24,000 lives.

2286

The Klingon/Cardassian alliance launches a large scale invasion of the Terran Empire once again. Recapturing Betazed and Xanar. Desperate Imperial Starfleet begin to experiment with dimensional transporters to steal technology from the 'Prime Universe' to help them with the war. A special undercover group of Terran Agents manage to infiltrate the 'Prime Universe' but accidently end up going forward in time as well. They bring back new advanced schematics and plans for a new warship, the Ambassador Class. Although technically from the future, Imperial Starfleet begin construction of these new Ambassador Class vessels.

2287

The ISS Enterprise NCC 1701 C, a new Ambassador Class Warship is launched under command of Captain Rachel Garrett. The Ambassador Class Warships prove effective against the Klingon and Cardassian fleets. Their future weapons and systems giving the Terrans an advantage over their enemies. However the new ships may have been heavily armed and well equipped, but they were slow and could be easily out maneuvered by Klingon ships.

2290

The ISS Enteprise NCC 1701 C is destroyed at Narenda III when attempting to attack a joint Romulan/Klingon weapons facility. Thirty six starships were destroyed in the battle including three new Ambassador Class Warships. The Romulan/Klingon weapons facility turned out to be a trap to lure in Terran Ships. It was a success and the Romulan and Klingon fleets cut down the Terran Ships with pure numbers.

2294

With Imperial Starfleet now on the brink of collapse, the Romulans pull out of the war and go into isolation. They start to rebuild their economy and sign a non-agression pact with the Klingon/Cardassian alliance. Meanwhile The Terran Empire loses Vulcan, Andor and is pushed back to the sol system. There they are trapped until eventually the Klingon/Cardassian alliance ships invade the Sol System and easily overwhelm the remaining Imperial Starfleet ships and defences. The invasion of Terra Begins, with war erupting in all major cities across the planet.

2295

The Terran Empire falls and cedes to the Klingon & Cardassian Alliance. The Klingons and Cardassians divide up Terran Empire space. Many Terrans are now regarded as 'second class' citizens under Cardassian and Klingon rule. Millions of Terrans are now being controlled or forced into slavery. Terra is occupied and all of Starfleets assets are either mothballed, dismantled or destroyed. A few Terran ships are saved or disarmed and used as civilian vessels or as freighters. The Cardassian/Klingon alliance continues to extend over the quadrant and the Romulan Star Empire is reborn after being released from Terran Rule.

2340

Terok Nor is constructed around the Planet Bajor, home to the Bajorans. The Cardassians annexed Bajor roughly twenty years before the construction of the station. Several Terrans are transported to the Station along with Bajorans as slaves to work in the mines on Bajor or in the ore processing center aboard the station. The Station has strict discipline under Cardassian administration and thousands of Terrans lose their lives over its years of operations.

Terok Nor soon becomes an established military and trade base for the Cardassian/Klingon alliance in the Bajoran Sector. The base is used as a military supply depot alongside the ore processing facility.

2370

Several officers from Starfleet's 'Deep Space Nine' are discovered on Terok Nor. They assist the Terran Rebellion aboard the station and in the Bajoran Sector. The database from their runabout is downloaded by the Terran Rebels.

2371

The Terran Rebellion manages to capture Terok Nor and begins construction of a new warship. The ISS Defiant is contructed at Terok Nor using plans from the 'Federation' Database that was downloaded a year earlier. With control over the Bajoran sector, Regent Worf leads a fleet to crush the Rebels. However unknowing to Regent Worf the Rebels trick and recruit Captain Benjamin Sisko of the United Federation of Planets to assist them in finishing the Defiant.

The Defiant is launched and under command of Captain Sisko is able to defeat Regent Worf's fleet, thus enabling the Rebellions first big victory. Upon returning to Quo'nos in disgrace Regent Worf is assassinated by his own council for being weak. This begins an internal civil war between the Klingon Houses and Cardassians, each wanting to seize control of the alliance. Due to this the Terran Rebellion is left unchecked, and the Rebellion starts to spread out of the Bajoran Sector.

Over the course of the next two years, the Rebellion spreads as far as Earth. The Terrans on Earth begin to rebel against their Klingon and Cardassian subjugators causing fighting to erupt across the planet. Olf Terran Warships that were being used as civilian or freighter vessels were captured by Terrans and used against Klingon and Cardassian ships in orbit of Earth. After seven months of civil unrest and rebellion the Klingons and Cardassians withdrawn from Earth.

With hundred of thousands now dead on both sides, Earth was now free once again and the Terran Homeworld was now back under Terran control.

2372

The Terrans waste no time in re-stablishing their old ways of ruling. However there would be some changes to how they operate. Instead of one 'Emperor' having all the power, they have learnt from their history and establish a Terran Council with an 'Emperor' sitting as a head. This was to prevent mistakes made by Spock and Sato in their history. This would be more beneficial to Terran Rule and would allow for them to remain powerful.

Another old rule that was abolished was the need to assassinate to gain power. The new Terran Council deemed that murder of an officer was now illegal unless under certain circumstances. The buildings that once belonged to Starfleet Command and Starfleet Academy in San Francisco were refurbished and Imperial Starfleet was founded once again.

Imperial Starfleet was founded with a new charter, but still included many of the old rules and regulations from the original Imperial Starfleet Charter.

2376

Using plans from the Federation Database, Imperial Starfleet begins to rebuild its warship fleet. In late 2376, Utopia Planetia Fleet Yards, which had been abandonded was refitted and recommissioned. Engineers and scientists from across Terran Controlled worlds began working on new designs, one of which was the new 'Hestia Class' a powerful warship being developed from a partial schematic of a Federation 'Prometheus Class'.

2378

Vulcan, Andoria & Betazed join the Terran Empire as the Klingon/Cardassian alliance begins to loser power and the Terran Empire spreads. They are accepted with open arms and become part of the Empire.

2380
