Mission:
Anubis Rises
Location: ISS Anubis
Two Klingon bird of prey flanked a medium sized vessel. Leading the formation was a larger Cardassian Galor Class cruiser. They were moving in formation, obviously escorting the medium vessel which looked like some sort of transport.
[Cardassian Galor Bridge]
Gul Lakor sat high in his center chair above the other Cardassian officers. He seemed frustrated. "I can't believe we have to escort this pathetic slave transport. Its full of those bad smelling useless Terrans and their weak spawn." He scoffed. "I warned the camp Commander. Neuter the Terrans so they won't reproduce so rapidly! But no, apparently that's too cruel even for slaves. Now we have to escort a ship full of their knocked up females and their offspring..." he sighed.
"Gul, there's a ship approaching. I believe it's a Terran rebel vessel." One of the Cardassians reported.
Lakor scoffed again. "If they plan to take back their precious Terrans then they're just downright foolish. Their ships are old, out of date and no match for us. Plus, these slaves need to be delivered, even if it hate them so much! Go to battle alert!"
[ISS Anubis]
"Drop us out of warp, directly in their flight path." Louise ordered. She smirked to herself, she couldn't wait to show those bastards that they were here to mean business.
From her intel station on the bridge, Reina turned slightly to face the viewscreen, yet remained battle ready. She knew never to underestimate the spoonheads, and this would likely be no exception.
Eden was at the science console on the main bridge, staring down at his console. He was keeping an eye peeled for anything de-cloaking.
"Shielding grid is powered up and stable," Kirche reported as she reached forward and cracked her knuckles. "Let's give this puppy a workout."
The Anubis dropped out of warp, stopping directly in the path of the convoy. The Cardassian and Klingon ships stopped along with the transport.
Louise smiled as the ships came to a stop. "Oh I've been waiting for this. Hail that pathetic excuse of a warship."
A few seconds later the annoyed face of Gul Lakor was on the viewscreen. "Whats the meaning of this?! How dare you stop an alliance..."
"Oh shut up!" Louise snapped. "Look here you spoonhead. You're obviously escorting something valuable in that transport. And I'm here to relieve you of that tedious task."
"And who exactly are you?!"
"Me? I am Captain Louise Vallière of the Terran Warship Anubis. I'm also your executioner. Take a good look at this new Warship because it's the last thing you're ever going to see before you arrive in the fiery pits of hell!" She cut off the channel from the controls on her chair.
"Destroy them." Louise ordered.
"How long did it take you to come up with that little speech?" Kirche quipped from the Engineering Station.
Louise shot a glaring look over at Kirche. "No one asked you. Do your damn job and stay quiet. I want that ship destroyed. Now!"
Lieutenant Atanasius Grayson's glare almost matched that of the Captain's at Kirche, but with more malice and contempt as his fingers jotted across his console, bringing up targeting information on the enemy, "Firing phasers on a three-four-six burst."
The bright orange beams zapped across space impacting the shields of the Cardassian cruiser. Instantly the Anubis shook as the Klingon Bird of Preys joined the attack, their disruptors striking the warships shields.
"Three on one huh..." Louise said. She tapped one of the controls on her command chair. "All Hands. Prepare to initiate Multi-Vector Assault mode!" Louise said a smirk slowly forming across her face. "Lets even those odds and show them what we Terrans can do!"
Reina was interested, but kept to her duty station. A small assault fleet in one ship. She'd hadn't the opportunity to see it in action, much less be in the action itself.
Blue lights began to flash replacing the red alert status lights. There was the unmistakable sound of docking latches unslotting and fastening into place. The saucer separated into two sections and the engineering hull into its own. The top of the saucer where the main bridge was was then flanked by the others.
The Anubis was now three ships, hidden phaser arrays and torpedo launchers now revealed.
"Have sections Beta and Gamma engage the Klingon ships. We'll take on the Cruiser." Louise ordered. "Attack. Now!"
Atansius coordinated the attack manuevers as they now focused on the Klingon battlecruiser. The Anubis rocked as the cruiser returned torpedo fire.
The Anubis made quick work of the three ships. In a matter of minutes the two Klingon birds of prey were reduced to floating debris. The Cardassian cruiser now drifted in space ahead of the transport. Its hull had been cut to shreds and was burning from the inside out.
"That was almost too easy," Louise said simply. "Reassemble the ship and beam those Terrans over. Put them into one of the empty cargo bays. We're liberting them here and now."
